BPSC 70th Mains Exam Date: Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has issued a notification regarding the 70th Combined Competitive Examination. Citing more than three lakh candidates who have applied for the preliminary examination, the commission has said that the entire examination will not be canceled. Instead, the examination will be conducted again at some other center on January 4, 2025, for about 12000 candidates who appeared for the examination at Bapu Exam Center in Patna. The commission has said that the future of more than two lakh 24 thousand 298 youth who appeared in the examination cannot be put at stake due to some unruly elements. Also, the commission has asked the candidates appearing in the examination to prepare for the Mains exam.
The commission has said that the Mains exam of the 70th Combined Competition can be conducted in April. Candidates are appealed to prepare for the Mains exam without paying attention to any kind of rumors. The commission has further said that Patna Police is investigating against those who conspired to create a ruckus at the Bapu Exam Center.
Commission issued notice to 34 candidates
After investigation, prompt and effective action will be taken against the elements involved under the relevant provisions of the Examination Malpractice (Prevention) Act 2024, IT Act, Indian Justice Code, and Indian Criminal Procedure Code. The Commission has issued notice to 34 candidates allegedly involved in the ruckus.
Commission counted successful examinations.
The Commission has counted its achievement of successfully conducting examinations. The Commission has said that 22 examinations have been conducted peacefully and malpractice-free from 26 June 2024 to 20 December 2024. No complaint of any kind has been received regarding these examinations. 11 lakh 44 thousand candidates had applied in these examinations.
