University Ranking: Ranking will improve
Professor Sangeeta Shukla, Vice Chancellor of Chaudhary Charan Singh University, said that from January, the university is going to start 11 courses under Open Distance Learning (ODL). This will make it easier for those students who want to study through distance learning. The Vice-Chancellor said that the ranking of the university in the past years will be further improved. He emphasized improving research, innovation, and academic index at the international level. Sangeeta Shukla said that this year the university will participate in THE ranking and there will be an effort to perform better in it. He said that NIRF and QS rankings will also be improved further.
Professional Courses: Employment-oriented courses will be started
Vice Chancellor Professor Sangeeta Shukla said that Chaudhary Charan Singh University will conduct employment-oriented courses in coordination with the Skill Development Ministry of the Government of India and various industries. As per the demand of the time, new courses will be started, which will provide better employment opportunities to the students. Giving the example of the course of Jewellery Designing, she said that this course gives students an opportunity to start their own business along with employment.
CCS University News Update: Players will get facilities
Professor Sangeeta Shukla said that the university is committed to providing better facilities to the players. Efforts will be made to appoint skilled trainers for archery, shooting, and other sports. She also said that the students of Western Uttar Pradesh no longer need to go out for higher education. All honours courses have been started on the university campus and better facilities have been provided. Also, affiliated colleges will be encouraged to apply for improvement in their NAAC rankings, which will also improve their quality. The Vice-Chancellor expressed confidence that these initiatives will not only benefit the University but also the students and affiliated colleges of the region.
