A horrific before-and-after video showing the situation from inside the cabin of the crashed Azerbaijan Airlines plane has gone viral. The plane (flight J2-8243) was on the way to Grozny from Baku and it crashed near Aktau city in Kazakhstan. There were 67 passengers in the plane and at the time of publishing of this story, 38 people were declared dead. There are many injured passengers who have survived. The plane crashed on Wednesday (December 25)
The video, shot by passenger inside the plane is being shared widely on various social media platforms. The video, apparently shot by an elderly person, shows panic inside the cabin with many passengers standing up near their seats. The man periodically shows the situation inside the plane and also points the camera to his face. It is not fully clear what the man is saying but he apparently is muttering a prayer.
Oxygen masks can be seen hanging from the compartments above passengers. Usually, these compartments can't be opened manual by passengers at will and oxygen masks are released only when pressure inside the flight cabin reduces.
After showing the anxious passengers, the video cuts to a scene which looks a far cry from a normal flight. This is because it is the video recorded after the crash. The cabin appears in mangled shape and passengers appear stuck under the mass of steel. A woman can be seen trying to get her bearings as blood come out of her forehead.
