Christmas day’s “Beyonce Bowl” performance will telecast as a stand-alone special

Netflix has announced that singer Beyoncé’s much-anticipated halftime show, known as the “Beyonce Bowl,” will be available as a stand-alone special later this week. This is an exciting development for both music and sports lovers.

According to Netflix’s official announcement post on social media, individuals who were unable to attend the live performance, which took place on Christmas Day 2024 at Netflix’s first NFL Christmas Gameday, will now be able to see it.

The concert took place during the Texans vs. Ravens game at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas, Beyonce’s hometown.

With a dynamic and varied set selection that included songs like “16 Carriages,” “Blackbird,” “American Requiem,” “Ya Ya,” “Spaghetti/Riverdance,” “Levi’s Jeans,” “Jolene,” and “Texas Hold ‘Em,” the performance, which was produced by Parkwood Entertainment and Jesse Collins Entertainment, according to Deadline.

A fantastic roster of collaborators, including Post Malone, Shaboozey, Reyna Roberts, Tanner Adell, Brittney Spencer, and Tiera Kennedy, joined Beyoncé on stage, adding to the excitement of the performance.
To the surprise of the crowd, Beyonce’s oldest daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, also took center stage as a featured dancer throughout the performance, according to Deadline.

With special appearances by Mexican Cowgirl Melanie Rivera, bull-riding great Myrtis Dightman Jr., and Miss Rodeo Texas Princess 2004 and Miss Rodeo Texas 2015, Beyonce’s performance also included a potent homage to Texas history and tradition.

The Ocean of Soul Marching Band from Texas Southern University, which consists of 200 gifted musicians, added to the spectacle’s grandeur by providing a lively and upbeat accompaniment to Beyonce’s performance, according to Deadline.

Beyoncé has previously dazzled crowds at a significant athletic event.
She is well-known for her memorable performances and has hosted two Super Bowl halftime concerts before: Super Bowl 50 in 2016 and Super Bowl XLVII in 2013.
