The Shri Shri Mahanam Angan in Banmali Pur, Agartala, hosted a blanket distribution event to commemorate Vaishnavacharya Shri Manan Nambrata Brahmachariji’s 121st birthday.
Prominent people attended the occasion, including Mayor Dipak Majumdar, Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha, and other dignitaries.
Chief Minister Manik Saha used the event to provide blankets to those in need of winter comfort who were from disadvantaged backgrounds. Furthermore, he went to see the ongoing renovations of an ancient Kali temple.

CM Saha said earlier on Wednesday that Tripura and other northeastern states will greatly benefit from the recently ended Plenary Session of the North Eastern Council (NEC) by hastening regional development initiatives.
Speaking at a news conference, Chief Minister Saha said that all of the Northeastern states’ chief ministers and governors attended the 72nd Plenary Session of the North Eastern Council (NEC) and learned more about Tripura.
According to Saha, a lot of people were unaware about Tripura. Following their visit, the delegates gained extensive knowledge about Tripura, including its roads, agar, bamboo, and tourism. For us, this is a huge advantage. Additionally, bankers from all throughout the nation attended meetings on NESAC and the Bankers’ Summit. For us, this is a huge benefit.
