Hyderabad: Union Minister and Telangana BJP President G Kishan Reddy attacked the Telangana government, headed by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, and the state police administration on Thursday, claiming that the police, not Telugu star Allu Arjun, should be in charge of crowd control. He also referred to the woman’s death and her child’s injuries at the Pushpa 2 premiere as a “failure” of the state’s Congress party and police administration.

“I would want to know who is in charge of crowd control. Who is in charge of the audience when people attend political leaders’ rallies to listen to them? The state administration is blaming the performers to protect itself, even though everything that transpired during the film’s marketing was a total failure of the Congress party.

I would like to question Revanth Reddy today: How is Allu Arjun accountable if a large number of admirers visit him during movie promotions? The police should not have issued licenses for the gathering if they were unable to manage it. You let them in, but why? This is a failing of the police administration. I would want to inform Revanth Reddy that the matter has been redirected in order to conceal your shortcomings. I oppose focusing on the actors. Telangana cinema has been developed after much effort. According to Kishan Reddy, “the Telugu image in front of the entire world is earning a good name.”

A huge throng came to see Allu Arjun at the Sandhya Theatre on December 4 for the launch of Pushpa 2: The Rule. When he waved to the supporters from the sunroof of his vehicle, commotion broke out. As a result, a mother called Revathi passed very tragically, and her kid was hurt.

Allu Arjun was detained following the incident and subsequently freed on bail after posting a surety of Rs 50,000. Actor Allu Arjun was questioned by Hyderabad police on Tuesday over the sad event that occurred during the Pushpa 2 movie launch.
