Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSMSSB) has released a bumper vacancy for Jail Prahari i.e. Jail Guard in the state, for which applications have been invited. The application process has started from 24 December 2024 and the last date is 22 January 2025. Eligible and interested candidates can apply by visiting the official website of Rajasthan Staff Selection Board recruitment.rajasthan.gov.in. A total of 803 posts of Jail Prahari will be filled under this recruitment campaign.

The recruitment examination for these posts will be conducted on 9 April, 10 April, and 12 April 2025. Candidates will be selected based on a written examination followed by document verification and a physical efficiency test.

RSMSSB Recruitment 2025: What is the application fee?

To apply for these posts, candidates of General, EWS, MBC, OBC, and other categories will have to pay an application fee of Rs 500, while candidates of SC, ST, and PWD categories will have to pay a fee of Rs 400 for the recruitment exam.

RSMSSB Vacancy 2025: What is the exam pattern?

To be selected for these posts, candidates will have to appear for a written examination, which will be of two hours. Multiple-choice questions will be asked in this exam. There will be a total of 100 questions in the exam, each of which will be of one mark. In the exam, candidates will be asked questions from General Knowledge and General Studies, Reasoning and Intelligence, General Hindi, and General English. There will be no negative marking in the exam and the exam will be conducted in English and Hindi medium.
