Magicbricks, a platform providing information about real estate, said on Friday that people looking for houses in Delhi are giving preference to fully ready apartments. About 80 percent people searched for ready apartments on its platform.
Magicbricks said in a statement that the ready apartments received the highest interest. 79.43 percent searches were done on this option while 59 percent searches were done for new construction houses and 41 percent for resale properties. It said, 37 percent of the searches were done for houses near commercial areas. After this, 34 percent searches were done for houses near industrial areas and 28 percent for houses near office places. In Delhi, at least 17.6 percent people searched for 4BHK plus rooms and 82 percent people searched for houses built only up to four floors.
The statement said, people gave importance to amenities for renting houses, in which 41 percent people searched for fully furnished houses and 34.8 percent people searched for semi-furnished houses. Parking remains a major consideration, with 60 percent of people preferring houses with one parking space. Whereas 20 percent people preferred properties with more than three parking spaces.
