has reportedly been offered his own fly-on-the-wall television series. The proposed show, pitched as a cross between The Osbournes and The Kardashians, would follow the former Prime Minister at work and play alongside his wife and their family.
The potential series comes hot on the heels of Boris being offered a spot on the ITV reality hit I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! for the most recent series.
A television insider claimedto The Sun: "As unlikely as it sounds, an At Home With show has become a more realistic prospect for high-profile politicians ever since Jacob Rees-Mogg made his own one this year.
"Meet The Rees-Moggs was generally well-received when it aired a few weeks ago on Discovery+, and Boris even got several name checks in that series.
"So producers have clearly adopted the nothing-ventured-nothing-gained approach and contacted the former premier on the off chance he might go for it.
"It just goes to show how, more than two years after leaving Downing Street, there's still huge interest in BoJo. As well as being a politician, he has the profile and personality that makes him a celebrity in his own right."
While details of the production company involved remain under wraps, there is speculation that filming could commence as early as next year.
The insider hinted that a bidding war might erupt between major players like Channel 4 and Netflix, who would likely be keen to secure the rights to such a show.
Jacob isn't the only politician to make the jump to TV. Former Health Secretary Matt Hancock and Reform MP Nigel Farage both competed in I'm a Celebrity in 2022 and 2023, respectively, while Jacob's Discovery+ series offered a more personal glimpse into his life outside Westminster.
