Renowned rapper and music composer Yo Yo Honey Singhs documentary is currently trending on Netflix. The actor has talked about his childhood how he became a star rapper as well as his downfall in the industry. Besides that Honey Singh also revealed his struggles with bipolar disorder the way he coped with it and how his family supported him during such tough time. Well the rapper spoke about everything but refused to reveal anything about his failed marriage and ex-wife Shalini Talwar. Who is Yo Yo Honey Singhs Ex-Wife Shalini Talwar? Shalini Talwar was born in 1987 in Delhi. She completed her schooling from Guru Nanak Public School in Punjabi Bagh New Delhi. Later she decided to pursue modelling and even tried her hands in films. She made a cameo appearance in 2004 film Run alongside Abhishek Bachchan and Bhumika Chawla. Honey Singh and Shalini Talwar first met in Karampura Delhi. They used to attend same tuition classes in 2001. After ten years of dating and knowing each other well the duo decided to take their love onto the next chapter. On January 23 2011 with the blessings of their family Honey and Shalini tied the knot in a traditional Sikh ceremony at a farmhouse in Delhi. Honey Singh kept his marriage under the wraps for many few years. It was until he took on the role of judge on the reality music show Indias Raw Star and introduced his wife to the public. Shalini Singh accused Honey Singh of domestic abuse Everything was going hunky-dory in their marital life until in 2022 Shalini filed a plea in Delhis Tis Hazari court against the singer. He accused Honey Singh of domestic violence and mentioned that he assaulted her during their honeymoon. She also accused the singers family of displaying aggressive behavior toward her during their marriage. He handed over a sealed envelope to his ex-wife as the settlement amount to finalise their divorce. The couple went on to part  ways after their divorce was finalised in 2023. In an interview with Lallantop Honey Singh admitted that in the initial years of his career he neglected his wife Shalini which impacted their marriage. Our relationship wasnt very good at that time. There was distance between us because I was travelling a lot. For the initial 9–10 months of our marriage things were good. But then success and fame got to my head. When that happened I neglected my family and had completely lost myself in money fame addiction and women. I did terrible things. I almost left Shalini and forgot about them (family). the rapper said.
