We are talking about none other than Amrita Rao. Amrita Raos Journey in Films Amrita Rao made her Bollywood debut with Ab Ke Baras in 2002. Although the film performed average at the box office Amritas performance was well-appreciated. In 2003 she was seen opposite Shahid Kapoor in Romantic musical drama Ishq Vishk. The film was a superhit and led Amritas career to another step. She also did a Telugu film Athidi opposite superstar Mahesh Babu. Although it was a box office success but Rao never signed any Telugu film after that. In an interview the actress said Women are reduced to mere glam doll in Telugu cinema. Later on Amrita gave superhit films like Vivah alongside Shahid Kapoor and Main Hoon Na opposite Shah Rukh Khan. Her performances grabbed eyeballs of various filmmakers which offered her several films opposite superstars like Sunny Deol in Singh Saheb The Great and The Legend of Bhagat Singh with Ajay Devgn. When Esha Deol slapped Amrita Rao Esha Deol and Amrita Rao worked together in 2006 film Pyare Mohan co-starring Fardeen Khan and Vivek Oberoi. There were reports that while shooting for the film the actress caught in ugly spat. The fight escalated quickly and Esha reportedly ended up slapping Amrita in the heat of the moment. While speaking to TOI about the similar incident Esha revealed that she had no regrets and Amrita totally deserved it. Amrita Raos marriage Talking about her personal life Amrita Rao tied the knot with her  boyfriend RJ Anmol in a secret wedding in 2014. She gave birth to a baby boy named Veer in November 2020. The couple own a Youtube channel called Couple of Things. They also wrote a book with the same name and was released in February 2023. Amrita is currently living her life away from the world of glitz and glam. Her last film appearance was in Thackeray based on the life of Balasaheb Thackeray. The film was released in 2019 and saw Amrita Rao playing a significant role after an absence for 5 years.
