New Delhi: Hemant Soren, the chief minister of Jharkhand, said he was very saddened by the death of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Friday. He said that Singh gave the country a new path and will always be remembered.
It’s a time of profound sorrow. We no longer have Dr. Manmohan Singh on staff. He provided the country a new course. God bless him with serenity. Although this is the outcome, Dr. Singh will live on in our minds forever,” CM Soren told the media report.
The Jharkhand chief minister, his spouse, and Kalpana Soren, the leader of the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), paid their last respects to Dr. Manmohan Singh at his Delhi home.
Kalpana Soren, the wife of Hemant Soren and head of the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), also offered respects, stating that Dr. Singh kept the nation strong.
“Dr. Manmohan Singh, the former prime minister, has his family in the country. A guy who kept his family and the whole nation strong has passed away. Kalpana Soren told ANI, “We pray that his soul rests in peace.”
On Saturday afternoon, Dr. Manmohan Singh’s last ceremonies will take place at the national capital’s Nigambodh Ghat.
