J&K: To help cars impacted by slick roads and a lot of snow, police in Anantnag, Jammu & Kashmir, have sent out special assistance squads.
An official statement states that these teams have been stationed at strategic locations around the district to provide prompt assistance and guarantee the security of travelers who are experiencing difficulties because of unfavorable weather.
“Key locations around the district have seen the deployment of special aid teams. According to the announcement, these crews are prepared to provide prompt assistance to commuters and cars affected by slick roads and significant snowfall.
“When traveling in such weather, the public is recommended to use care. “Citizens are encouraged to dial 112 for emergencies or assistance,” it continued.
According to police, hotline lines have been set up around the clock to assist anybody in need at this time.
With its first snowfall of the year on Friday, the charming city of Srinagar, which is renowned for its tranquil landscapes and visual splendor, welcomed the winter season.
A new round of snowfall fell on Friday in the union territory’s Baramulla area as well.
Up till December 30, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted sporadic light rain and snowfall in Jammu & Kashmir.
