Pune based startup company Vayve Mobility is preparing to introduce the upgraded version of its solar powered electric car EVA. This solar car can be presented to the people during the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 organized in New Delhi next month. This is India's first solar electric car which was first presented in Auto Expo 2023.
The company says that this car has been designed keeping in mind the needs of the city. The size of this car is such that it can be easily parked even in a small space.
The company claims that this car can cover a distance of up to 250 kilometers on a single charge and with the help of the solar panel installed on the roof, this car can run up to 3 thousand kilometers in a year. This car supports ultra fast charging and gives a driving range of up to 50 kilometers in just five minutes of charge.
This solar electric car can accelerate from 0 to 40 in just five seconds and the top speed of this car is 70kmph. Another special thing about this car is that the running cost of this car is also quite high, it costs only 0.50 paise to drive one kilometer of this car. Talking about the features, this car will get special features like smartphone connectivity, remote monitoring and over the air updates.
At present, the company has not shared any official information about how much this solar car will cost, nor has it been revealed when the upgraded version of this car will be launched. No details related to the price of this car have been revealed at the moment but it is expected that the price of this car can be Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom).
