New Delhi: A new debate has erupted among social media influencers regarding OpenAI's new three-pronged reasoning model. Some influencers are concerned about the new model's high cost and overhyped artificial general intelligence capabilities.

According to GlobalData, a leading data and analytics company, there are some influencers who are surprised by the impressive performance of this model. This model of OpenAI has the ability to surpass human performance based on coding and scientific reasoning.

Shreyasi Majumdar, social media analyst at GlobalData, said influencers are particularly attracted to Oathry's ability to perform complex tasks autonomously. This model potentially surpasses human capabilities and demonstrates a 'private chain of thoughts' approach, providing more accurate and reliable answers.

Some influencers highlight the massive computing required for O3, pointing out that it could be an important step forward, but its real-world use is currently considered limited due to its high cost.

Majumdar said, “Additionally, some influencers challenge the claims of achieving AGI. They argue that while Othri demonstrates impressive abilities, it is still not capable of true general intelligence and is prone to all kinds of problems.” The solution lacks robustness.”

According to Alvis S., co-founder and CEO of DAIR.AI, the hype around Othri is out of control. Alvis said, “It's not AGI, it's not the Singularity and you certainly don't need to change your perspective. In fact, the public doesn't even have access to the models, so how can anyone make any claims I appreciate the way OpenAI researchers presented Othri,”

Aaron Levy, CEO of Box, said that OpenAI's Othry model appears to be better at reasoning than any other model. “It costs a lot to operate, but that's irrelevant. What's expensive today will be cheap tomorrow. Quality is everything, because you know the costs will always be lower,” he said.

Social Capital CEO Chamath Palihapitiya said the AI model has set new performance records on multiple benchmarks, scoring 96.7 percent on the American Invitational Mathematics Exam, 87.7 percent on graduate-level science questions, and achieving a Codeforce rating above the 99th percentile.
