“The sisters who came to meet me have come to my house in this cold,” Verma told the journalists. I shall show respect to anybody that visits my home. I’ve brought tea and coffee for them, along with my wife and kid.

Additionally, he advised women voters in the assembly seat of New Delhi to get their Ladli Yojna cards prepared.

“Anyone who doesn’t already have a card created may come to my place and get one produced. Come immediately, have your card created as soon as possible, and you may carry it with you if you are a New Delhi Vidhan Sabha voter. There won’t even be a 24-hour delay. Without exception, we are creating Ladli Yojna cards for everyone. Verma responded, “Please come and have your card made.”

This demonstration comes after Delhi Chief Minister Atishi accused the BJP of buying off votes in the assembly seat of New Delhi, where AAP candidate Arvind Kejriwal is scheduled to run. Verma was allegedly caught red-handed transferring money at his official house, according to Atishi’s allegations.

Chief Minister Atishi said on December 25 that the BJP was giving money to voters in the assembly seat of New Delhi, where Arvind Kejriwal is running for office. Additionally, she said that Parvesh Verma, a retired West Delhi MP and BJP politician, was “caught distributing money” at his official house.

Speaking during a news conference on December 25, Atishi stated: “In the New Delhi assembly seat, where Arvind Kejriwal is running for office, the BJP is giving out money to individuals by looking through their voter cards. Parvesh Verma was caught red-handed today distributing money that he had received as an MP at his official house. In the New Delhi constituency, women from different slums were summoned and handed an envelope containing Rs 1,100.

Additionally, she said that Verma’s home contained crores of rupees, and she pleaded with the Election Commission to direct the Delhi Police and ED to search Verma’s official residence and take him into custody.

“I would want to notify the ED and CBI that Parvesh Verma’s home still contains cash valued at crores of rupees. I urge the Election Commission to have the Delhi Police and ED search his official house and take him into custody right now. The BJP is attempting to win an election that was lost.

We will formally file a complaint with the Election Commission and the police. PM Modi and JP Nadda’s photos are also included in the money-distribution brochure,” she stated.

This comes after the Department of Women and Child Development published public announcements calling the Mahila Samman Yojana “non-existent.” According to the department, no formal notification of such a plan has been made.

Early in 2025, Delhi is anticipated to have assembly elections. The BJP won eight seats in the 2020 elections, while the AAP won 62 of the 70 seats.
