New Delhi: Eugenie Bouchard recently found herself laughing at a Christmas meme that showed her and Andy Roddick as kids with Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf as their parents. The meme surfaced ahead of the third edition of the Pickleball Slam where Agassi and Graf will team up against Bouchard and Roddick. In celebration of the Christmas season the Pickleball Slam 3 organizers posted the meme on Instagram giving fans a reminder of the upcoming event scheduled for February 16 at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. On Christmas Day Eugenie Bouchard reposted the meme on her Instagram story. The image playfully depicted Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf as the parents with Andy Roddick and Bouchard as their kids all wearing sweaters and Christmas hats while resting their chins on their hands. The 30-year-old embarked on a new journey in 2024 by joining the Professional Pickleball Association (PPA) Tour. The ex-world No. 5 has encountered notable obstacles in recent times such as a 17-month break caused by a shoulder injury and only secured two WTA victories in 2023. As the countdown to Pickleball Slam 3 begins Steffi Graf commended Eugenie Bouchard for her strong debut in professional pickleball. She discussed the difficulties of shifting from tennis and expressed concern about Bouchard gaining too much of an edge before their upcoming match.
