Taking the help of technology, the government has launched 'Mera Ration 2.0 App' for the convenience of the citizens. With the help of this app, ration can be taken even without physical ration card.

1. First of all install Mera Ration 2.0 app in your smartphone. This app is available on both Google Play Store and Apple App Store. 2. After installing the app, open it. 3. Login through your Aadhaar number. Use OTP for login. 4. After login, your digital ration card will appear on the screen. 5. By showing this you can get ration. This facility is very useful for those who forget their ration card at home or who have trouble carrying the physical card every time.

Process to make online ration card

If you do not have a ration card, you can make it through online application. For this follow these steps 1. Go to the government portal of your state. 2. Fill the application form for ration card by clicking on the given link. 3. Fill name, address and other required information. 4. Upload documents like Aadhar Card, Voter ID and Electricity Bill. 5. Deposit the application fee (this fee may vary according to states). 6. Read the form carefully and submit. Your eligibility will be checked after application. Once eligibility is confirmed, your ration card will be issued in a few days.

Eligibility for Ration Card

• It is mandatory to be an Indian citizen.
• The age to apply must be above 18 years.
• The monthly income of any member in the family should not exceed Rs 10,000.
• No member in the family should have a government job.
• The family should not have a car.
