New Tata Sumo Launch: Tata Sumo, which ruled the Indian roads for a long time, is once again in the headlines. Tata Motors may introduce a new SUV at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo to be held in January 2025, which may be the new incarnation of Tata Sumo. If this happens, then Tata's upcoming SUV can give a tough challenge to Mahindra Scorpio and XUV700.

Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 will start from January 17. In this Tata Motors Will introduce new models. New Sumo may also be included in these. The new SUV can come with modern design and features, which will make it capable of giving a tough competition to Mahindra Scorpio and XUV700.

There will be direct competition with Mahindra

Mahindra Scorpio and XUV700 have maintained a good dominance in the SUV segment. Tata Motors can make a comeback with its new SUV in this segment. After Tata Harrier and Safari, the new incarnation of Tata Sumo can prove to be a game-changer for the company.

However, Tata Motors has not officially confirmed anything about the new Tata Sumo. It is also not clear whether the new Sumo will be introduced at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo or not. We will be able to get the answer to whether it is coming or not only in January 2025.

Tata Sumo's journey

Tata Motors launched Tata Sumo in the Indian market in 1994. This powerful SUV ruled the Indian roads for almost 25 years. Due to its strong design and strong performance, this car was very popular in rural and urban areas.

However, it was not possible for this car to meet the required safety standards under the Bharat New Vehicle Safety Assessment Program (BNVSAP) implemented from October 1, 2019. It was difficult to upgrade it, due to which Tata Motors decided to discontinue it in 2019.
