Actor Salman Khan who recently celebrated his 59th birthday in Jamnagar with the Ambanis has always managed to stay in the public eye. His love life has always been an open book. One such chapter in his life involves his relationship with former Miss India Sangeeta Bijlani. While their love story was much admired in the late 80s and early 90s the much-anticipated wedding between Salman and Sangeeta never took place. In a candid chat on a TV show Sangeeta confirmed that the wedding invitations had already been printed when the couple called it off. Their wedding was set for May 27 1994 and wedding invitations were even printed. However the wedding was called off reportedly due to Salman Khans infidelity. A month before the wedding Salman was rumored to be involved with actress Somy Ali. Sangeeta reportedly caught Salman with Somy in her room. Somy later shared in an interview with Zoom that when Sangeeta walked in she thought her relationship with Salman was over. But Salman spoke to Sangeeta for about 10 minutes and then returned to inform Somy that he had broken up with Sangeeta. Somy Ali later revealed that years after causing the breakup between Salman and Sangeeta she sincerely apologized to Sangeeta from the bottom of her heart. By that time she realized that as a 16-year-old she had made a mistake and deeply regretted her actions.
