Updates:
Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj have managed to tip the scales towards Team India in the post-lunch session by ripping through Australia's middle-order on day four at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG). After Australia slipped to 91/6 from 80/3, Marnus Labuschagne and Pat Cummins have somewhat managed to stem the bleed, propelling their lead to 240 heading to tea.
After being bowled out for 369 in response to Australia's first-innings total of 474, the hosts have had to battle hard for runs in the first morning of day four in Melbourne. Although Australia went to lunch with a 158-run lead, the Indian seam trio of Mohammed Siraj, Jasprit Bumrah and Akash Deep have hardly allowed the hosts any respite.
Team India all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy remains the key on day four of the fourth Test against Australia at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG). With Reddy going off on day three unbeaten on 105 but with only one wicket remaining, the 21-year-old will look to add as many runs as possible to whittle down the lead.
Meanwhile, the first objective for Australia will be to take the final wicket at the earliest and give themselves a chance to build a healthy lead going into India's final innings. Scott Boland and Pat Cummins will be key, with Mitchell Starc battling a stiff back.
