Bihar Vision Conclave showcases entrepreneurial spirit and cultural pide at BharatMandapam

The Bihar@2047 Vision Conclave (Season 2), part of the Let’s Inspire Bihar initiative, concluded on 22 nd December 2024, witnessing the participation of over 2000 entrepreneurs, start-ups, and thought leaders from Bihar and the diaspora. The conclave provided a platform to deliberate on Bihar's growth trajectory and culminated with releasing a comprehensive Vision 2047 Document .
A Clarion call aimed towards a transformative positive change, tangible results, and great impact, witnessed the blaze for change in the hearts of people resonating with the collective commitment of 'I will transform Bihar’ in unison with the inspiration and mentorship of the visionary Vikas Vaibhav, IPS, who in all virtue, humility, sincerity, and honesty, set a new parameter and milestone of hope,
positivity, energy, and enthusiasm for the achievable aim through the pledge.
Launched on March 22, 2021, by Senior IPS Officer Vikas Vaibhav, the Let’s Inspire Bihar campaign aims to create a developed Bihar and, consequently, a developed India by 2047. Its vision ensures that no one leaves the state for education, employment, or healthcare. Rooted in the principles of education, equality, and entrepreneurship, the campaign draws inspiration from Bihar’s rich cultural and entrepreneurial heritage to unite people to foster national development. Over 150,000 volunteers actively contribute through its various chapters. The campaign envisions an entrepreneurial revolution, focusing on job creation within the state. It is building a supportive ecosystem for youth entering self-employment, start-ups, and enterprises. By 2028, it aims to establish five start-ups in each district, each generating 100+ jobs.
Addressing the audience at Bharat Mandapam, the chief patron of the campaign, IPS officer Mr. Vikas Vaibhav delivered a speech emphasising the need to transcend divisions and restore Bihar's historical and cultural legacy. Rejecting the narratives of fragmentation based on caste, community, and religion, he passionately declared, “Bihar needs to wake up from its deep slumber, break inertia and move away from the long state of stagnancy, believing in its inherent power and potential that at one point of time showed remarkable leadership to the world.” Vaibhav further asked the audience to be optimistic about the future of Bihar, also highlighting the importance of Artificial Intelligence which can play a crucial role in social transformation in the coming age. He rooted for establishing centres of excellence for Artificial Intelligence in different districts of Bihar, in the time to come. Vaibhav further noted that without rising above the different kinds of differences we have created in society, it is not possible to develop Bihar even by 2147, let alone by 2047, that we are dreaming of. He urged citizens to take ownership of nation-building, calling upon the audience to become agents of change and cordially take this campaign as their own campaign undertaking commitment to play their part in the socio-economic transformation of
Bihar.
Highlighting Bihar’s ancient prosperity, rooted in its Vedantic heritage, Mr Vaibhav emphasized the pivotal role of education, equality, and entrepreneurship in its resurgence values central to the Let’s Inspire Bihar campaign.
Mr. Indramohan Munna, the campaign’s coordinator for the Delhi-NCR region and a part of the program’s organizing committee, showed great satisfaction with the success of the program.
The Vision 2047 Document outlines actionable strategies across 16 key areas, including education, entrepreneurship, health, agriculture, environment conservation, and tourism. The document reflects the shared vision of stakeholders for a developed Bihar by 2047. Experts
and participants shared insights on a wide range of topics, such as fostering entrepreneurship, boosting water resource management, promoting IT-enabled services, and enhancing transport and communication infrastructure.
