A strange thief entered the bank and took away the passbook machine thinking it was an ATM

A strange bank robbery took place in Haryana last Saturday. The thieves broke in by breaking the window grill, but as they could not open the strong room, they stole the bank's passbook printing machine mistaking it to be an ATM. This mess happened when thieves broke into the branch of the Central Bank of India in Kosli town of Rewari district of Haryana last Saturday night. 

The thieves had entered the bank to steal money. For this, they reached the bank after midnight and entered inside by cutting the grill of the window. But despite many attempts, the thieves failed to break the strong room of the bank. After this, with the intention of taking whatever they found, they stole three passbook printers, four batteries and a DVR installed in the bank, thinking it to be an ATM. 

The bank employees who arrived the next morning first informed the police about the theft. When the police checked the CCTV footage of the bank, this mistake of the thieves came to light. The thieves who entered the bank tried to break the CCTV, but they failed to break all the CCTVs. After trying to break the strong room for a long time, they finally took away the passbook printing machine. The police have registered a case and started an investigation. According to reports, the thieves who stole the passbook printing machine thinking it to be an ATM have surprised the police as well.
