Palak Combination: There is abundance of green vegetables in winter. Like spinach, fenugreek, red bhaji, amaranth, bathua, onion bhaji and many more. And all these seeds are available fresh in the market. The prices are also very low. Do you know that different dishes can be made by mixing these vegetables together. Spinach makes palak saag, paranthas, palak paneer, and even spinach soup. Its vegetable and parathas are made from fenugreek bhaji. But, in Ayurveda it is forbidden to eat spinach with some other foods.

While making spinach-potato tikkis or making any snacks, do not add spinach to it. Actually, the combination of sesame and spinach is prohibited in Ayurveda. This will not only harm the digestive system but will also cause stomach ache and diarrhea.
Spinach-paneer curry is very much liked in India. Or we can say that it is made in every house in Central India. But, it is not right to eat milk products like cheese with spinach. Spinach contains high amounts of iron, which can react with the calcium present in milk. This can spoil the digestive system.
If you like to eat curd and spinach kadhi or spinach raita in winter, then stop this combination. Actually, consuming spinach and curd can be harmful, because curd contains calcium and spinach contains iron. These two things hinder each other's digestion.
