According to the data, a reduction of Rs 1,401.37 per kiloliter has been seen in the country's capital Delhi, after which the price has become 90,455.47 per kiloliter. Whereas in Kolkata a fall of Rs 1,491.84 was seen and the price of jet fuel became Rs 93,059.79 per kilolitre. Whereas in Mumbai, jet fuel has become cheaper by Rs 1,349.09. After which the price has become Rs 84,511.93 per kilolitre. Whereas in Chennai, a reduction of Rs 1,560.77 has been seen in the price of jet fuel, after which the price has become Rs 93,670.72 per kilolitre.
Jet fuel prices have also been updated for domestic airlines running international flights. Its price is charged in dollars. Where the price of jet fuel for international flights in Delhi has increased to $ 812.75 per kiloliter. At the same time, the price of jet fuel for international flights from Kolkata has reached $851.55. Whereas in Mumbai, the price of jet fuel has gone up to $811.98 for domestic airlines, which run international flights. Whereas for international flights from Chennai, the lowest price of jet fuel has been seen at $807.69.
After becoming expensive for two consecutive months, there has been a decline in the prices of jet fuel. Which can provide great relief to those people who travel a lot by air. In fact, ATF accounts for 40 percent of the expenses incurred in running any airline. If ATF i.e. jet fuel becomes expensive then the operation cost of airlines increases and its direct impact is seen in the form of increase in air fares. If jet fuel becomes cheaper then the possibility of reduction in ticket prices increases. In such a situation, experts say that there may be a decrease in air fares in the coming few days.
