Through this feature you will be able to schedule calls directly within WhatsApp. In such a situation, you will not have to take the help of any third party app. You will not need to set up a virtual meeting.
To schedule a WhatsApp call, open WhatsApp on your phone. After this go to the group on which you want to schedule a call. After going to the group, you will see a plus icon on the bottom left side of the message bar, click on it.
On the right side, along with photo, camera, location, many other options will also be visible. Out of all these, click on the event icon.
Now create an event, write the name of the event and set the time. If you want to start the meeting via link, turn on the toggle. In this you can select between video and audio call. Just after this you have to click on the send option at last.
After scheduling calls, don't worry if you have to cancel the meeting for any reason. You can cancel the meeting easily. You just have to go to chats and click on edit event in the same meeting schedule. After this you have to click on cancel.
To lock a chat, go to the chat you want to lock. After this go to the profile option and click on the chat lock option.
After this, select either Lock this chat with fingerprint or Lock this chat with face ID option.
