The daughter of Raveena Tandon, Rasha Thadani, is preparing for her cinematic debut with Azaad, an action adventure movie set in pre-independence India that opens this month. Director Abhishek Kapoor, who has introduced several faces in the past, such as Sara Ali Khan in Kedarnath (2018) and Sushant Singh Rajput in Kai Po Che! (2013), is guiding her for the first time in front of the camera. Rasha was a well-known figure even before she moved to Bollywood, thanks to her regular public appearances with her celebrity mother and her sizable Instagram following.

Next up is Aaman Devgan, the nephew of Ajay Devgn and Thadani’s co-star in Azaad. The young man is often seen with his aunt Kajol and his famous uncle. Ajay supports Aaman both on and off screen, as the actor makes a brief appearance in the action adventure. Given that Aaman has so far maintained a low profile, it could work to his advantage since viewers will assess him on-screen and have no prior ideas about him.

Another Khan is on the horizon this year. Ibrahim Ali Khan, the son of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh, is a perfect replica of his father. He worked as an assistant director on Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani (2023) before landing the main part in Sarzameen, which was directed by Kayoze Irani and supported by Dharma Productions. It seems that the newest star child with acting ambitions is taking the tried-and-true path. The fact that he has already secured his second movie, Diler, a drama about a marathon runner and produced by Dinesh Vijan, is promising.

Aryan Khan’s entry into Bollywood has a unique twist in a film business that is often influenced by tradition. Shah Rukh Khan’s oldest son has decided to forge his own path behind the camera rather than emulate the celebrity. Unusual decision for a celebrity child? Of course! Aryan’s decision to make his Bollywood writing and directing debut is refreshing at a time when many in the group want to stand under the spotlight and experience the glitz and glitter that come with being a movie star.

As it happens, the superstar-father anticipated it. Regarding his oldest kid, Shah Rukh said on The David Letterman program a few years ago, “He realizes that he doesn’t have what it takes to be an actor.” However, he writes well. I believe that the desire to become an actor must originate inside. Find a collection of abilities that will enable you to do something that you really need to complete. It was [because of] him that I realized. “I don’t think I want to act,” he said to me. I will always be compared to you, and I choose not to be in that situation.

This year, we will all be able to see the outcome of that choice. Aryan’s first web series, Stardom, which takes place in the entertainment industry, is ready. The location of the Netflix series is clear, and the plot resonates with viewers. Similar to how Shah Rukh, a Delhi lad without any film industry ties, revolutionized the Hindi film business, Stardom follows an ambitious outsider as he makes his way through the glamorous but challenging world of Bollywood. Mona Singh and Lakshya play key parts in the series. It has appearances from several Bollywood celebrities.

Aryan has undoubtedly received the backing of many people and the advantages that a novice filmmaker could never hope for in his first directing endeavor. However, it’s unclear what he does with these advantages. We can say, “Like father, like son,” in a few months!

In January, there will be more fresh faces than only Aaman Devgan and Rasha Thadani. Sky Force, starring Nimrat Kaur and Akshay Kumar, will mark Veer Pahariya’s acting debut. Veer is seen in the aerial action movie falling in love with Sara Ali Khan, whom he reportedly dated before to her cinematic debut. He is the younger brother of Janhvi Kapoor’s partner, Shikhar Pahariya.
