Banana is beneficial in case of constipation

As you know, irregular eating habits, excessive consumption of fast food, coffee or tea are the main problems of constipation. In such a situation, consumption of banana can be beneficial. Banana contains both soluble and insoluble fiber. In most cases, increasing fiber intake can provide relief from constipation. Banana, due to its vata balancing nature, softens the stool and controls constipation.

When to consume banana

Many people consume banana on an empty stomach in the morning. By doing this the sugar level can increase rapidly. Also, one should avoid eating banana at night. Let us tell you that you should consume it after light meal and around 12 noon. Eat 2-3 bananas a day to regularize bowel movements and get relief from constipation. Take one cup curd, one banana and half teaspoon sugar to taste. Eat this mixture once a day.
