Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi are set to be seen on the big screen once again with their upcoming film 'Thandel', a patriotic romantic drama directed by Chandoo Mondeti . The film is based on real-life incidents and is generating significant buzz ahead of its release.

Music for 'Thandel' is composed by Devi Sri Prasad , known for his catchy and impactful scores.

Initially, the song was meant to debut during Christmas, with plans for a grand launch in Kasi, but those plans were altered at the last minute.

'Thandel' tells the story of fishermen from Srikakulam who accidentally drift into Pakistani waters during a fishing trip. The narrative explores themes of love, courage, and patriotism as it follows the protagonist's journey back home with the help of his girlfriend.

The film is said to be made on a budget of Rs 75 crores, 'Thandel' marks one of the most significant projects in Naga Chaitanya's career. The film has reportedly recovered Rs 40 crores through digital rights sales.

The pan-India film is set to hit theatres on February 7, 2025, and will be released in multiple Indian languages including Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada.
