Through this feature you will be able to schedule calls directly in WhatsApp. In such a situation, you will not need to take the help of any third party app. You won't need to set up a virtual meeting.
To schedule a WhatsApp call, open WhatsApp on your phone. After this go to the group in which you want to schedule a call. After going to the group, you will see a plus icon on the bottom left side of the message bar, click on it.
On the right side you will get many other options including photo, camera, location. Click on the event icon among all these.
Now create the event, type the event name and set the time. If you want to start the meeting via a link, turn on the toggle. In this you can choose between video and audio calls. Just after this you finally have to click on send option.
After scheduling a call, don't worry if you have to cancel the meeting for some reason. You can cancel the meeting easily. All you have to do is go to Chats and click on Edit Event in the same meeting schedule. After this you have to click on cancel.
To lock a chat, go to the chat you want to lock. After this go to profile option and click on chat lock option.
After this choose Lock this chat with fingerprint or Lock this chat with Face ID option.
