New Delhi: The national capital on Friday witnessed a dense layer of fog, with the air quality being in very poor category. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) had predicted that there will be very dense fog throughout the day. The maximum temperature will be 17 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature will remain at 8 degrees, said the met department. The residents are facing the chill due to falling temperature and the drop in air quality is also troubling people. On Friday, the AQI was recorded at 366 from Ashok Vihar, Delhi.

Delhi Fog Prediction As per the met office, the dense fog will continue for a few days to come. On January 4, the maximum temperature will be 18 degrees, and the minimum will be exactly half of it, 9 degrees. The condition are likely to be the same on January 5, with the maximum temperature dropping at 17 degrees. Amid the shivering cold, Delhi is expected to see rain on January 6, the IMD predicted. The possible rain is likely to bring more coldness in the weather. The temperature is further expected to reduce to 16 degrees. In this way, the maximum temperature will go down to 15 degrees on January 7 and to 14 degrees Celsius on January 8. The minimum temperature will settle at 7 degrees, said the IMD.
