‘Paatal Lok’ is making a comeback with a new season after an extended hiatus.
The trailer for the series starring Jaideep Ahlawat was released by the producers on Friday. The trailer provides an exciting look at a brand-new case that tests Hathi Ram’s mettle.

Ishwak Singh will return in the next season, along with newcomers Tillotama Shome and Gul Panag.
Sudip Sharma is the creator and executive producer of the eight-episode series, which is produced by Clean Slate Filmz in collaboration with Eunoia Films LLP. The show, directed by Avinash Arun Dhaware, will debut on Prime Video on January 17.
In a press statement released by Prime Video, the series’ creator and showrunner, Sudip Sharma, expressed his enthusiasm.
“I was inspired to create stories that are honest, relatable, and incredibly captivating by the tremendous response to the first season,” he added. It has been an honor to work with such a great team, and in this new chapter, we have intensified the themes of mystery, suspense, and criminality.”
The series’ first season, which debuted in May 2020, received accolades for its unvarnished depiction of Indian culture and its gripping narrative. It presented viewers with the ethically nuanced universe of Jaideep’s portrayal of Inspector Hathi Ram Chaudhary.
