Team India's veteran fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah is continuously wreaking havoc in Australia. After making and breaking record after record on Australian soil, Bumrah has created another record. Jasprit Bumrah has now become the Indian bowler with the highest wicket taker in a Test series in Australia. In this matter he has defeated former spinner Bishan Singh Bedi. This big achievement has been registered in the name of Bumrah as soon as he dismissed Marnus Labuschagne in the Sydney Test.

Bumrah created history

Jasprit Bumrah has now become the bowler taking the most wickets in any Test series in Australia. Bumrah has taken 32 wickets so far in the ongoing Border Gavaskar Trophy. Marnus Labuschagne became his victim as the 32nd wicket. Bumrah created history as soon as he took the wicket of Labuschagne. Earlier, when Bumrah had taken the wicket of Usman Khawaja in the first day of the Sydney Test, he had equaled the record of Bishan Singh Bedi.

Bishan Singh Bedi's 47 year old record broken

Before Bumrah, the record of taking most wickets in a Test series in Australia was held by the great and late spinner Bishan Singh Bedi. He took 31 wickets in the entire series on the Australian tour of 1977-78. Bumrah shattered this record during Australia's second innings in the last Test of the series being played in Sydney.

Bumrah has taken more than 200 wickets in tests

Jasprit Bumrah has troubled the Australian batsmen since the beginning of this Border Gavaskar Trophy. He took 5 wickets in the first innings of Perth Test. Whereas in the second innings he got three wickets. After this, Bumrah took four wickets in the Adelaide Test. In the third match played in Brisbane, Bumrah took 9 wickets. Even in the fourth test in Melbourne, the bowler had taken 9 wickets in his account. Now Bumrah has created history by achieving 2 more successes in the Sydney Test.
