The storyline is undergoing a significant transformation with the makers introducing a 15-year leap to focus on new lead characters. “Rupali Ganguly will be quitting Anupamaa in the next three months. The makers introduced a big 15-year leap to introduce new lead characters like Shivam Khajuria and Adrija Roy. Once the makers develop a strong love angle between Prem and Rahi Anupama (Rupali Ganguly) will exit the show” the portal quoted. Anupamaa fans are shocked Rupali Gangulys exit after three months will be a massive shock for Anupamaa fans. Rupali has earned immense appreciation for her portrayal of the titular role with many considering her the backbone of the show. Rupali faced heavy trolling recently after accusations emerged linking her to the exits of former cast members like Paras Kalnawat and Alisha Parveen. However the actress defended herself telling ABP News “I have no authority over casting or other major decisions. Such matters are managed entirely by Rajan Shahi and the channel.
