Kairana: A 20-year-old bodybuilder died a painful death after being bitten by a Labrador dog. The family of the deceased youth had brought the dog from Ugrakhedi in Haryana about four months ago. The family is devastated by the death of the youth. The youth had won the title in the bodybuilding championship held in Baghpat eight months ago.

Javed, the 20-year-old son of Haji Shahdeen, a resident of Mohalla Gulshan Nagar in the town, died on Thursday. The family says that about three months ago, Javed was bitten by their pet dog while he was feeding him. Four months ago, the family bought a buffalo from a person named Krishna, a resident of village Ugra Khedi in district Panipat in Haryana. He had also brought a Labrador dog along with the buffalo. 15 days ago, the condition of the young man started deteriorating, and the family took him to a private doctor in the town. When the doctor advised to show the young man to a senior doctor, the family took the young man to a famous private doctor in Shamli. Where the doctor referred him to Delhi, saying that he was suffering from rabies. After this, the family took the young man Javed to Govind Ballabh Pant Hospital in Delhi. From there he was referred to Lokmanya Tilak Hospital. Meanwhile, the condition of the young man kept deteriorating. At the same time, the doctors also gave up, and the family brought the young man home from the hospital three days ago. On Thursday, the young man started having trouble breathing. Eventually, in the evening, the young man died in agony at home. The young man's death caused an uproar among the family members. Later, the family buried the deceased young man in a sad atmosphere. The deceased young man is said to be the youngest among five siblings.

Eight months ago she won the UP Body Building Championship in Baghpat.

Young man Javed was very interested in bodybuilding. The deceased youth's father said that his son had won the UP Body Building Championship held in Baghpat about eight months ago. Before this, he had won the Body Building Championship held in Sonipat, Haryana. The family is inconsolable due to the death of the youth.

Before the youth, a teenager and a buffalo had also died.

Haji Shahdin, father of the deceased youth, says that about four months ago he had brought a buffalo and a Labrador dog from a person in Ugra Khedi, Haryana. The buffalo died just 15 days after bringing it from there. A month later, while feeding his son Javed, the dog brought with the buffalo from Haryana bit his hand. He asked the buffalo owner to take back his dog. The person who came to take back the dog also brought his 13-year-old grandson with him. It is said that on the way, the person's grandson was bitten by the dog being taken back, and he died eight days ago. It is suspected that the buffalo also died due to dog bites.

Every month 500 patients get an anti-rabies dose

Stray terror is at its peak in the city and the region. At the Kairana CHC alone, about 500 to 525 patients are given anti-rabies injections every month, of which 90 percent are given to those bitten by dogs. Earlier, anti-rabies vaccination was done only three days a week, but for the past month, anti-rabies injections have been given daily at the CHC. It has been said that the young man's death has created fear in the locality, due to which about 74 people of the town reached the CHC on Friday and got anti-rabies injections.

'He has no information about the death of the youth due to a dog bite. It will be ascertained whether the youth had come to the CHC and got the anti-rabies injection or not. Dog bite causes hydrophobia, due to which the patient starts fearing water etc. - Shailendra Chaurasia, CHC Superintendent Kairana.'
