For this, the government has made a provision of Rs 10 thousand crores. According to the information, a list of farmers has been prepared for land acquisition for the third and fourth phases. According to the information, land of 40 thousand farmers will be acquired. 14 villages have been identified for land. A plan is being made to give Rs 10,000 crore as compensation to these farmers.
According to the information, land for Jewar Airport is to be acquired in 4 phases. Land has been acquired for the first phase and farmers have been given compensation of Rs 1800 per square metre. Now the compensation has been increased for the third and fourth phases. The amount of which has been fixed at Rs 4,300 per square. According to the information, in this phase, two new runways and 300 hectares of land have been reserved for the MRO hub.
The special thing is that after construction of Noida International Airport, it will be the fourth largest airport in the world. In which there is a plan to build 8 runways on the lines of Chicago's O'Hare Airport. This airport can be prepared not only for commercial use but also for cargo use. The construction of this airport started in the year 2021 with the laying of the foundation stone by PM Modi. It is reported that commercial flights will start at this airport by May 2025. On the other hand, a 31 kilometer green field corridor will also be prepared between Ballabhgarh and Jewar Airport.
