Jasprit Bumrah left the Indian fans worried when he left the field after bowling just one over in the second session of the second day of the ongoing Sydney Test match against Australia. The India captain was expected to bowl a few overs after the break but he went off. A few minutes later, Bumrah left the SCG with Team India's medical staff and went for scans.The BCCI didn't provide an update on Bumrah. The right-arm pacer returned to the SCG in the final session. Prasidh Krishna finally provided an update on Bumrah and revealed why he went for scans.Speaking to the media after the 2nd day's play, the India pacer said: "Jasprit Bumrah has a back spasm. The medical team is monitoring him so let's see."It isn't confirmed whether Bumrah will play any part on the third day or not. India need the services of 'all-rounder' Bumrah on the third day. He scored a brilliant 22 off 17 balls in the first innings to take India to the 185-run mark.Bumrah has been India's star performer with the ball and tops the wicket-taking charts with 32 scalps.
