The UK beach perfect for a winter walk where you might catch a glimpse of baby seals

This beautiful beach in the UK is a great place to over the colder months and there's even a chance you'll get to see a special sight while strolling along the coast.

Winterton and Horsey in Norfolk is the best beach for seeing plump white seal pups, says .

Hundreds of pregnant grey seals haul themselves onto the of east Norfolk and between November and January, they give birth to their pups.

The four mile walk between Winterton and Horsey will take you along the England Coast Path.

This beautiful will take you across incredible scenery where you can admire the sea and the sand dunes while feeling refreshed by the brisk seaside breeze.

Keep an eye out for the baby pups which can be spotted among the - these animals triple in weight over three weeks after birth.

In winter, the main seal colony is taped off to protect the pups but you can still admire the rare sight.

One visitor on who visited Horsey beach and saw the seals said: "Amazing experience. We came in November, there was a whole colony of seals resting on the beach, going in and out of the water, seal mums feeding their babies.

"Beautiful natural scenery to watch - the shore is also lovely and natural, miles of sand dunes."

After your walk, you can head inland to Horsey which is a scenic village.

In the area, you can visit its National Trust-owned 'mill' which is a four-storey brick windpump, and round-towered thatched church.

You can also take a stop off at a traditional country pub, The Nelson Head has an open fire when it is cold and is a in the area.

Finally, you can visit All Saint's Church which is an ancient Saxon Church, with a round tower and thatched roof serving the village of Horsey.
