Kapil Sharma had asked Amit Kumar, Dada, this song 'Raat Kali Ek Khwaab Mein Aayi', is there any story related to it? So Amit Kumar said, “In those days there were night clubs in Bombay. So there used to be cabaret dancers also among them. And Pancham Dada (RD Burman) was very fond of cabaret dance and belly dance.”
Amit Kumar had further said, “My father said, Dada, let's go to Sun and Sand, there a girl dances well. Grandfather said, let's go, both of them went and sat down. Dada said, where is she, where is she, she said, she must be coming. Then someone came from there and whispered something in my ear. When grandfather asked what happened, father said that she is not coming today. Then grandfather said, damn you. From there a mask was made…Kali came in a dream in the night and got a necklace.”
