iPhone SE 4which is the successor to the iPhone SE (2022), could launch early next year. Although Apple has not officially confirmed its launch, recent leaks have revealed many important information about the upcoming smartphone. According to a South Korean blog, the price of iPhone SE 4 may be higher than its previous model.
According to the leak, the price of SE 4 can be KRW 8,00,000 (approximately ₹ 46,000) in South Korea. Globally, its price is expected to be within $500 (approximately ₹ 43,000). However, in another leak its price is said to be between $499 (approximately ₹ 43,000) to $549 (approximately ₹ 47,000).
In India, the launch price of SE 3 was ₹43,900, but after a few months its price was increased to ₹49,900. If the price of SE 4 also starts at ₹49,900, it will be a challenging price point for Apple.
The device will have Apple's A18 chipset, which also powers the iPhone 16 models. Along with this, there will be support for 8GB RAM, which is a big upgrade compared to iPhone SE 3.
SE 4 may have Apple's in-house 5G modem. This will be the first time Apple will use its own 5G modem.
Improvement is also expected in the camera department.
The USB-C port can be used for charging, which is in line with new technology requirements.
The biggest question for Indian consumers is whether the SE 4 will be available under ₹50,000.
If its price starts at ₹49,900, it will be an attractive option for those who want an iPhone with modern features at a low price. However, the new price and features may make it the most expensive model in the iPhone SE series so far.
