Despite Jasprit Bumrah's absence on day three of the final Test against Australia, Team India threatened to pull off a remarkable heist in Sydney. However, the likes of Usman Khawaja, Travis Head and Beau Webster held their nerve to take their side to victory. Earlier, Scott Boland claimed a six-for as the tourists could manage only 16 runs to their overnight score.

Scott Boland and Pat Cummins ran through India's line-up to take the remaining four wickets only for 16 runs on day three of the fifth Test at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG). Boland, who had taken four scalps by Stumps on day two, took his second fifer in Test cricket as Australia bundled India out for 157.

With a 145-run lead but only four more wickets left in the shed, Team India face a tricky task of setting a defendable total on day three of the fifth and final Test in Sydney. As the pulsating five-Test series reaches its potentially final day, whether Jasprit Bumrah will bowl or not also remains up for discussion. Rishabh Pant's innings of 61 was decisive in pushing India's total well above 130 in no time.

For Australia, they must restrict the tourists to as minimum a total as possible, although India might have a total to win already on a tricky surface. However, the hosts need to believe as the Border-Gavaskar Trophy and a World Test Championship (WTC) final is on the line.
