Mukesh Ambani and family are deeply rooted in traditions and proudly uphold their cultural values. Recently a video surfaced the internet where the ‘choti Ambani bahu’ Radhika Merchant is seen visiting a temple with the Merchant family. This comes few days after Mukesh Ambani and Anant Ambani offered prayers at the famous Dwarkadheesh temple in Dwarka.
Radhika Merchant donned a traditional print pink leheriya kurta set for her temple visit. She was accompanied by her parents Viren Merchant and Shaila Merchant. Did you know that this particular temple holds a very special connection with the Ambani family?
Radhika Merchant offered prayers, sought blessings at Shrinathji Temple in Nathdwara. It is located in Rajasthan and has great significance in the Hindu culture.
Radhika Merchant has her own sense of style that exudes elegance one attire at a time. Often, all the Ambani’s ladies add a touch of speciality in what they wear for any occasion. For this special visit, Anant Ambani’s wife wore a pink kurta set in leheriya print. And this too can be connected with the place of visit.
About Leheriya Print
Leheriya print is a traditional tie-dye print style practiced in Rajasthan. It is known for its vibrant colours and distinctly patterns. The technique is named after the word Rajasthani for wave because the dyeing technique is often used to produce complex wave motifs.
Mukesh Ambani, Nita Ambani and their family are huge believers of Lord Shrinathji. According to a report by Firstpost, this god is the deity of Ambani family. They have been visiting this temple in Rajasthan since many years.
Radhika Merchant and Anant Ambani had a small roka ceremony at this Shrinathji temple at Nathdwara in Rajasthan.
If we trace their connection to years back, Mukesh Ambani too has often visited the temple and announced big business projects just after. One of it being, launching of 4G services in 2015.
Similarly, in October 2022 when Akash Ambani launched the fifth generation or 5G services, he had done it from the renowned Shrinathji temple in Nathdwara. “It’s 5G for Sriji,” Vishal Baba, mahant of the Nathdwara temple, had said then, according to a News18 report.
Just few days before, Mukesh ambani and anant Ambani also made a temple visit in Dwarka. Dwarkedheesh is one of the four dhams that are regarded sacred in the Hindu culture.
Amid tight security, the father-son duo offered prayers at the temple. Both the temples are made for incarnation of Lord Krishna. On multiple occasions, the Ambani family have been seen staying true to their roots and their traditions.
