Now, during excavations in Patna, the capital of Bihar, an years old Shiva temple has been found. This beautiful grand temple was underground, which had been covered with garbage for years. The land was left in the name of a monastery. It is being estimated about the temple that it may be of the 15th century, which is the remains of a temple that is about 500 years old.

It is a temple-like structure, in which a Shivalinga and two footprints have been found. The surprising thing is that the local people excavated the site before the arrival of the officer and after cleaning it, started worshiping here.

According to the information, this temple was found during excavation near Narayan Babu ki Gali of Alamganj police station area. On Sunday afternoon the ground there suddenly started sinking. When people cleaned there, they saw the upper part of the old temple. On further digging of the ground, a temple about five feet high was discovered. A shining Shivalinga made of black stone was also installed inside this temple. Beautiful carvings were also seen on the pillars of the temple.

The temple is made of special metal

Regarding the temple, local people told that this temple is made of some special metal. Water is continuously coming out from it. No matter how much you wipe with a cloth, it keeps leaking. There is a temple of smooth black stone. There are Shivalingas and footprints in the same temple. As soon as people saw the temple they started cheering. The local people worked enthusiastically to remove the soil. People said that we do not know how old the temple would be but its structure shows that it is an ancient Shiva temple. Earlier garbage was thrown here.

Process of worship continues

The historical importance of this site has increased due to the discovery of Shivalinga and two footprints in a temple-like structure found inside the ground. However, no official information has emerged regarding the antiquity of the remains of this temple or the identification of its exact time.

There is still doubt as to how old this temple is. But, this place has now become a religious place and worship continues here. People have started the work of cleaning and renovating the temple with mutual cooperation. Local people say that they will bring this ancient temple back to its old form.
