While in one of the interviews when Hrithik was asked about the controversy he responded with a mix of humour and tact. The actor said Well this is one thing I want to say about kissing. It came with this one big condition that Suzzane (Hrithiks wife) had put on me when she said that if you are going to do this then you better make sure that it is the best damn kiss in the whole wide world.
Made in just Rs 35 crore Dhoom 2 smashed the box office records and earned Rs 80.91 crore net in India and grossed Rs 147 crore worldwide. It became one of the most iconic films in Bollywood renowned not only for its high-octane action sequences but also for the sizzling chemistry between its lead actors Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
Moreover Dhoom 2 became the highest-grossing Hindi film at the time of its release until its record was surpassed by Shah Rukh Khans Om Shanti Om in 2007.
