How does a teleprompter work?

A teleprompter consists of two beam-splitter glasses, on which the text is displayed. These glasses are placed at an angle of 45 degrees, and text is projected onto the glass through a monitor. This system has a flat LCD monitor, which magnifies the text so that the speaker can read it. The speed of the text is controlled by the controller.

Types of Teleprompters

1. Presidential Teleprompter: Used by leaders such as the President, in which the glass screen and monitor are facing in different directions.
2. Camera Mounted Teleprompter: This device also has a camera attached so that the speaker can look at the camera, which is ideal for TV anchors and business leaders.
3. Stand Teleprompter: This device is used by the actors during the film so that they can speak the dialogue without being seen.
