2 fans of Ram Charan die after attending Game Changer event in Rajahmundry, producer gives financial support of Rs 10 lakh

In a heartbreaking incident two fans of actor Ram Charan tragically lost their lives in a road accident after attending the pre-release event of his upcoming film Game Changer in Andhra Pradeshs Rajahmundry city on Saturday night. The victims Arava Manikanta and Thokada Charan from Gaigolupadu in Kakinada were struck by a van while returning home on a bike. Despite being rushed to the hospital they succumbed to their injuries.
The grand event which was also attended by Andhra Pradesh Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan was meant to build excitement for the film ahead of its release on January 10. However the accident has cast a shadow of sorrow over the celebrations.
Responding to the tragedy Game Changer producer Dil Raju expressed deep grief and announced financial support for the victims’ families. Addressing the media on Monday Raju said “It is painful when such incidents occur during happy occasions. I will do whatever I can to support the families.” He pledged Rs 5 lakh each to the families of the deceased.
Sri Venkateswara Creations the production house behind the film shared the announcement on their social media stating: “Producer #DilRaju garu has pledged Rs 10 lakh to support the families of the two individuals who tragically lost their lives following the #GameChanger event. Our deepest condolences to their loved ones during this difficult time.”
Pawan Kalyan who attended the event had earlier expressed concerns about holding large gatherings due to potential safety risks.
This tragic news comes just a month after a similar incident where a fan of Allu Arjun lost his life during the premiere of Pushpa 2: The Rule.
Game Changer directed by S. Shankar is among the most anticipated releases of the year and features Ram Charan in the lead role. While the event was intended to energize fans for the upcoming release this heartbreaking accident has left everyone mourning.
