Reliance Consumer Products Limited (RCPL) has officially entered the rehydration drinks market with the launch of RasKik Gluco Energy a beverage combining electrolytes glucose and real lemon juice. Priced at an affordable Rs 10 for a single-serve pack the product is designed to meet the energy and hydration needs of individuals engaged in physical activities. RCPL has also announced plans to roll out a larger 750 ml pack for home consumption in the near future.
The launch of RasKik Gluco Energy marks RCPL’s strategic move to address the growing demand for ready-to-drink hydration solutions in India. This development comes on the heels of Reliance’s acquisition of the iconic Campa Cola brand which caters to the carbonated beverages segment. With RasKik as its master brand for juices and functional beverages RCPL aims to solidify its position as a comprehensive player in the beverage and consumer products market.
Currently the RasKik portfolio includes popular flavors such as Mango Apple Mixed Fruit Coconut Water and Nimbu Pani. Building on this range the company plans to expand into products inspired by regional Indian tastes to cater to diverse consumer preferences.
Reliance Compete With Tata Consumer Coca-cola Pepsi
RCPLs entry into the hydration category may affect existing players like Dabur India and Tata Consumer Products Ltd. Nourishco of Tata Consumer; Dabur fruit juice business were already struggling in this category. Apart from this other competitors like Pepsi and Coca-cola will also face competition in the beverage market after RCPL’s new product.
This initiative aligns with RCPL’s broader ambition of becoming a total beverage and consumer products company. By introducing innovative affordable products like RasKik Gluco Energy Reliance continues to strengthen its footprint in India’s competitive functional beverage and juice categories.
