Adding to his fleet he has now been spotted driving a Jaguar F-Type sports car marking a shift from his usual SUV choices. The video of Dhoni driving the F-Type was shared on YouTube by Shivam Vlogger 007. Fans waiting outside Dhoni’s Ranchi residence often catch glimpses of his unique rides and this time they were treated to the sight of him behind the wheel of the luxurious sports car. The video shows the Jaguar F-Type slowing down near the entrance to his mansion before Dhoni drives inside as is his usual practice without engaging with fans. Jaguar F-Type Features According to CarToq report the Jaguar F-Type featured in the video is registered in Karnataka and online records suggest it is not yet transferred to Dhonis name. This indicates that the cricketer may have purchased a used model a preference he has given for some of his previous acquisitions also. Dhoni often opts for pre-owned vehicles particularly rare models no longer offered by manufacturers making this car another thoughtful addition to his collection. The F-Type spotted in the video is finished in a striking British Racing Green and is the coupe variant diverging from the more commonly seen convertible version. Jaguar originally reintroduced the F-Type to enhance the brand’s sporty image a move closely associated with Ratan Tata. He strongly advocated for a sports car in Jaguar’s lineup to solidify its image as a luxury automotive brand. Ratan Tata himself owned a red Jaguar F-Type S an imported left-hand-drive model that held a special place in his garage. The car Dhoni is seen driving belongs to the updated lineup released after Ratan Tata’s version. It features a 5.0-litre supercharged V8 engine producing 443 bhp and 580 Nm of torque delivered to the rear wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission. Jaguar also offered a more powerful AWD variant with the same engine generating 567 bhp and 700 Nm of torque.
