Speaking online, he said that Bengaluru, a city renowned for its inventiveness and technology, is making great efforts to address urban issues by enhancing metro services, which would benefit a large number of people.

A member of parliament named Tejasvi Surya discussed the Yellow Line project’s delay, which was originally scheduled to be completed in 2017. He clarified that COVID-19 was one of the reasons it was postponed. He said that the project will soon be completed and that when it is, more than 2.5 lakh people would utilize it.

In order to complete the Yellow Line more quickly, Surya said that another train set would be available by February and that more will follow in March and April.

Namma Metro’s Yellow Line will aid in easing traffic in crowded areas like Silk Board and Electronic City. The line would link key neighborhoods of Bengaluru and span 18.8 kilometers with 16 stops. Additionally, it will make switching trains at Silk Board, RV Road, and Jayadeva stations simple.
