Bollywood superstar Govinda has won everyone's hearts with his dance and acting. But one shortcoming of Govinda was always pointed out, which he himself admits that he comes late for the shooting of films. His name appears in the list of late stars, but now it is not so. Shakti Kapoor has talked about the big change that has come in Govinda.
Some time ago, in an interview given to Bollywood Bubble, Shakti Kapoor talked about the change in Govinda. Also, filmmaker Pahlaj Nihalani, a friend of Govinda and Shakti Kapoor, also told some things about Govinda.
When Shakti Kapoor was asked in the interview what one change he noticed in Govinda? Shakti Kapoor said, 'I have been seeing a big change in him regarding punctuality for the last few years. Earlier, in the 9 am shift, Govinda used to come at 9 pm, but now if there is a 9 am shift, he reaches at 8.30. Insecurity can take a person from where to where.

Recently Pahlaj Nihalani gave an interview to Friday Talkies. Talking about Govinda's punctuality, Pahlaj said, 'There was a time when he signed dozens of B-grade and C-grade films without thinking anything. He used to do 5-6 films together, no one knew where he lived. Because of this he used to reach late and lie on the set. He used to say that he is doing all this to earn money and I used to tell him that this thinking of yours is dangerous. What he is doing is against the profession. With Pahlaj Nihalani, Govinda has done films like 'Shola Aur Shabnam' (1992), 'Aankhen' (1993), 'Ilzaam' (1986) and 'Rangeela Raja' (2019).
During the 80's and 90's, Govinda and Shakti Kapoor did many films together. Those films include films like 'Jaisi Karni Vaisi Bharni', 'Raja Babu', 'Khuddaar', 'Naseeb', 'Banarasi Babu', 'Muqabala', 'Bhagam Bhag' and 'Jis Desh Mein Ganga Rahta Hai'. Shakti Kapoor was popular in the role of Nandu in the film Raja Babu and his pairing with Govinda also became very famous.
